What it means to be the Senior Patrol Leader

what it means to be a Senior Patrol Leader, a Senior Patrol Leader is the leader of
the scouts, but he is also one of the scouts. his job is to make sure that every one
is doing what they need to be doing.

     they also have to help anyone who needs help,
like if you are working on something and someone just cant do it by there self, then
you would be the one they come to first or you would go to them.

Merit Badges

What is a merit badge? A merit badge is an achievement that is required for rank advancement. You have to do certain requirements to earn them.

For example, for metal works you have to make something out of metal. But that is not all you have to do.

 You do not have to earn all of them to be a eagle scout though, because there are over 140. but you have to earn some of them. there are some fun ones, like archery, and some boring, like citizenship in the nation.

What is Boy Scouts of America?

A boy scout is a group of boys that promotes character, does fun outdoor activities together, has good citizenship and does service for others. Boy Scouts of America, or BSA, work really hard to become different ranks:

First boy scout, then tender foot, second class, first class, star scout, star, and finally the Eagle.

Boy Scouts are trustworthy and they work hard to serve other. They have to do a lot of work to get to their eagle scout. Did you know that Neil Armstrong is a eagle scout? When he landed on the moon he was not kidding when he said "the eagle has has landed."
